أتكلم وأعلم
أتكلم وأعلم أنك تسمع
أنا في بعدي
وأراك تدمع
يا أبي كم بعدنا
والعمر يسرع
وكم ترضينا الحياة
بل غدنا نضرع
كي لا يفاجئنا الهروب
فنفزع
و ما أجد الآن سوى الذكرى
في الذكرى أهجع

وجع النفس لا يبرأ
وذكرى حنانك
لا تشفع
